The cabin is located in a remote quiet place, perfect for nature lovers. It was built in a tree and has a view over the Southern part of the Făgăraș Mountains. We have no electricity but but we have a solar photovoltaic system. We have no running water, no bathroom, but we have a composting toilet and a shared shower so you can feel closer to nature. The Little House with a Core-Walnut Little House / 4-Seasons Treehouse

Surprisingly, just about 1h 40min drive from A1 exit of Bucharest and quite close to Transfăgărășan Road, in Vâlsan River Natural Reserve, there is this delightful Walnut Treehouse named Căsuța cu Miez. (transl. ‘Walnut Kernel Treehouse’). We don’t know for sure how old the walnut tree is, but we do know that it offers a unique occasion to enjoy the splendid nearby hills and forests, the apple tree orchards, the pastures and lots of wild birds and poultry.
