Relax on this unique and peaceful getaway in a natural setting, 8 kilometers (5 miles) from Coyhaique, on the way to the Balmaceda airfield, along Route 7. This beautiful cabin with a terrace is in the middle of the forest, where you can experience and enjoy the silence and nature. It is possible to reach the property by a two-wheel drive vehicle, and then walk about 50 meters to the cabin. We have a composter and recycling system, a greenhouse, a henhouse with laying hens, and our faithful dog Rollito.

IMPORTANT about location: It is in the El Claro sector, 12 minutes by car and 8 km from the centre of Coyhaique. It's not in the centre! It is a "cabin" without luxuries, but fully equipped, with everything you need. The cabin is a quiet, independent and safe place, overlooking the mountains, surrounded by vegetation, cozy, ideal for resting and enjoying nature, in this environment you may see insects, horses, birds, hares, etc. Access to the Simpson River 80 meters away.

El Techo Rojo, a cabin in Coyhaique

Inspired by the region's rural life with a contemporary twist, Techo Rojo invites you to relax and enjoy the simple things. It is a warm construction in wood and sheep wool insulation (both from regional production). It has wood and electric heating, seeking a balance between efficiency and the Patagonian experience. Outside, it is equipped with a grill, picnic table, hammocks, wooden armchairs, and a hot tub (additional service). We have local experiences in the area.
