La Bodega (the cellar) de Casa del río is an independent one-bedroom apartment with private bathroom, kitchen and living room, built on a ground floor. The kitchen is equipped to cook your own simple meals (but not oven/microwave). The apartment is basic and minimalist, but it’s also very comfortable and has everything you need for a enjoyable and simple stay. The apartment has views to the valley, a private terrace with amazing views and an independent entrance. You can also use the common areas and the big garden. Please be aware that the apartments do not have washing machine, TV or microwave/oven. If you can’t live without those, this may not be the perfect place for your stay. Phone signal and wifi work perfectly and are quite reliable. Casa del río is the perfect way to scape the noise and experience first-hand living a simple and sustainable life in an Asturias village off the beaten track. The property is ideal for people who want to be away from the noise and crowds, as it is quite isolated and the village of Xio has no services at all. Closest services are a bar/restaurant/swimming pool 10min by car, and shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, petrol station, etc…20min by car.

The apartment is independent, is fully equipped and accommodates up to eight people. It occupies the entire top floor of the house, with a spacious private terrace with BBQ. It has four rooms (two with a double bed and two with two single beds), two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and a terrace. Upstairs this apartment with capacity for 8 people is located and the floor below is occupied by two other apartments, one for 2 people and one for 4. The apartment of 8 is accessed by wooden stairs, the same ones that connect it with the common garden, with a porch and green area. From the same house you can walk to the Laguna de Lago(magical place for its history,which I will tell you if you decide to come).
