Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The single house, duplex, has a common room on the 1st floor equipped with a complete Kitchenette, TV and Wi-Fi. It has a generous balcony with a table, next to the living room with a fantastic view of the Douro River, widely used for meals and at the end of the day. Visit a traditional Douro Valley estate!

Outside, there is a large garden, a barbecue area ideal for al fresco dining, and a swimming pool perfect for enjoying the sunshine.

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).

River View Cottage is located at the highest point of our hilly estate rising above the left bank of the River Douro. The magnificent views from the balcony will take your breath away! The 200 year old stone cottage has recently been refurbished with all the modern amenities necessary for your comfort. The cottage sits within a fully operational wine & fruit farm offering a first hand view into a local farming operation while enabling rest & relaxation.

The wine theme is very evident throughout the surroundings of Casa de Campo. It is 15 minutes from the A25, 30 minutes from the city of Viseu, near Guarda and between Serra da Estrela and the Douro Region. It is located a few minutes from the Sanctuary of Lapa.
