Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

Bottom Pigsty The Bottom Pigsty is a mezzanine style cottage. The downstairs space is an open-plan living area with a separate wet room shower, basin and toilet. There is a kitchen area with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and all the appliances and crockery, pans and oven wear you will need for your stay. There is a TV, Wi-Fi and USB sockets. Upstairs is a mezzanine overlooking the lower level. Sleeping is in double bed and a single with trundle (sleeping 4 comfortably in one space.

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

Maltkiln House Annex is the perfect getaway for two people who love to be in the countryside. You can enjoy uninterrupted views sitting at the bottom of the garden which is your own space. The Annex dates back to the 16th century and is full of charm. You can walk from our Annex straight up onto the Cleveland way where you can walk or bike for miles. Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.

Riverside Guest Annexe
Riverside guest annexe is in a secluded garden but is within 50m of Waterfall Park and Great Ayton High Green, with its shops, pubs, cafes, take-aways and Tourist Information. The annexe is attached to our house, but has its own entrance, patio, garden area and parking space. We can accommodate 2 adults comfortably, plus a third adult or up to 2 children on our pull-out and/or sofa bed. We provide bedding, towels and toiletries. No smoking or pets are permitted in the annexe.

Pretty cottage situated on the village green in the heart of Castleton village. Open fire for creating a cosy night in & perfect for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors either on foot, bike or car. Castleton is lucky to have two great pubs The Downe Arms right across the road and The Eskdale which serves lovely ‘fine dining food’ but also lovely just for a drink. There’s a Co-op store and a loose weigh shop Castleton lies close to the Esk valley railway to Whitby

Arriving on foot, it is fully equipped with everything you might need. Close to Danby Castle wedding venue. We welcome all family pets and have plenty of fields for off lead exercise.
