Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.

coatmakers self-catering studios

Part of the beautiful historic building known as the Coatmakers in Comber Co. Down which has been sensitively restored keeping it in the spirit of the old town. In 1912 it was a pub spirit grocers and undertakers for the local workforce as well as the famous designer of the Titanic Mr Andrews who travelled to and from the shipyard by train. Today the coat making tradition and linen heritage continue in the workshops of the building with the 'linen rain collection' by Winnie Magee
