Dragon Ranch Experience In Beautiful Mountain Setting
The Dragon Ranch Experience The thing about dragons is the magic, mystery, and awe they bring. Our goal is that Dragon Ranch will do the same. Whether it be the magic of watching and meeting our goats, sheep, llamas, longhorns and horses which range in size from miniatures to draft, or fishing for mountain trout in our ponds (additional cost to fish). Experience the awe of our beautiful aspen filled nature trails throughout our working ranch, or go back through history as you visit a blacksmith shop built in 1860, and a Milk House built in the late 1800’s among other historic ranch structures from the original homesteaders. You will be able to experience a way of life that is disappearing. All of our buildings and trails are named after American Medal of Honor recipients, which serve as a reminder that the freedoms we share are a gift to be cherished. We always strive to have babies throughout the year so we can provide great experiences (and photos) with our baby goats, longhorns, sheep, llamas, and mini horses. We will teach you about each one of the different animals on our ranch, what they are used for, and how they coexist with us here on the ranch to include our livestock dogs who live with our livestock. We will also provide fun lessons in herding some of our sheep or roping. The myth begins. Welcome to Dragon Ranch.
Downtown Denver Pub Crawl
You'll meet other 'crawlers' at our starting bar, where you'll jump right into the activities for the night. With over 600+ bars and breweries, Denver is a major hub for all things craft and creative alcohol. You'll get the chance to taste different drinks of your choice, some of which will come at a significant discount through promotions with the bars, all throughout the night. Over the course of the crawl we'll visit at least four bars. We'll start in a bit of a more calm nature and go out with a bang, ending at one of Denver's top 'places to be' nightlife-wise. Great for groups, great for teams, and great for team-building! We'll take the planning and logistics out of the equation for you! ***Interested in a private group or crawl? Message us and we can coordinate groups up to 50 individuals!*** Please note: there might be other guests on the experience that did not book through Airbnb as well.
Astronomy Tour
A tour for all ages just outside of Boulder (accessible by Taxi, Lyft & Uber). Tours start at sunset and last for 2 hours. The show will explore the night sky with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will see and learn about planets, constellations, navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, maybe some shooting stars, and our universe. Through telescopes we will get up close looks at these objects and take in their beauty with our own eyes. The tour takes place at a easy to find trailhead (no hiking required) where phenomenal sunsets and wildlife are often seen. Guests are provided with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water(upon request). Guests are encouraged to bring questions, wonderment, and warm clothing (it can get cool after sunset) I can add availability on most days by request to accommodate your travel plans (the sooner the request the better, I would like to know more than 1 week in advance) Other things to note Please be aware of weather, tour is subject to cancellation if it is too cloudy to see any stars
Taste Denver Like a Local Foodie Tour
Denver's most unique foodie experience! Each food tour is unique as we rotate through some of our favorite locally owned eateries, so please know up front that each tour is planned individually and is not a daily rotation of the same tour every time. In the 12 years of food-touring across Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins, Megan has made relationships with dozens and dozens of chefs and restauranteurs. So, that enables our tours to be different as we feature many different places total but only 5 or so per tour. We'll meet, greet, and then head to stop one to eat. On our food tours, guests will learn about the local Denver food scene, taste chef's choice foods and bartender's choice beverages, and learn about the neighborhood we're touring. We currently explore LoHi for our AirBnB Experience. Guests learn the exact itinerary at the start of the tour, but can expect at least five stops over the course of three hours. And we always end with dessert! Eat, drink, walk repeat! Dietary restrictions and food allergies communicated in advance are usually easily accommodated. Your guide will either be Megan (local food tour owner) or Linnea (local food writer).
