The River Sweet

My river property is located right on the edge of the Arkansas river in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The property is comfortably accessed by the highway with ample parking for 8 automobiles. At the same time there is 1200’of private river access with a large comfortable access via boating and wading. Our property is really all about the river. In the spring, summer and fall the river can really be moving. This provides an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sounds, birds and pastoral scene.

French doors open on to a deck overlooking a pond and back yard. This studio is attached to our home, but has a private entrance, fully stocked kitchen and bath. It feels like you are in the country but only minutes from town, the Arkansas River, and trails. A great place to stay while whitewater rafting the Royal Gorge, mtn biking, climbing, or just want to take in a meal downtown and relax on the private deck. The studio offers a queen size bed and a small couch that folds out into a bed.

The Glass Deckhouse (North Peak View)

Take a break and explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest at 8,000 feet in the sunny Rocky Mountains. A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a comfortable modern cabin all <15 mins from historic downtown Salida, CO. We designed the deckhouse with 30+ square foot window walls on both sides which open up to a view over a forested mountain valley. We've worked hard designing + curating the glass deckhouse. A 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beds for 6 people and plenty of space for a few more if sofa's or sleeping bags on the floor suits you. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest. Private off street parking for one vehicle. Convenient walking distance to Downtown Westcliffe.
