The Airbnb City Portal was launched in 2020 as a first-of-its-kind resource for local governments and tourism organisations informed by years of work with governments around the world. With Hosts in more than 100,000 cities and towns, one of Airbnb’s priorities is to work with governments on ensuring that home sharing serves and strengthens their communities. As part of this commitment, we created the City Portal to help local governments and tourism organisations better understand the Airbnb landscape and tourism trends in their community, as well as offer them tools to help enforce their short-term rental laws.
The City Portal is used by hundreds of local governments and tourism organisations to better understand the Airbnb landscape and travel trends in their community, as well as help develop and enforce short-term rental laws.
