“Its a beautiful bungalow in a tea garden just five kms from Kotagiri. Gary's Mom and Dad stays in the same property. They are very nice hosts and I must admit maam is a great cook. Please look forward to very tasty breakfast. Our pet Bubbles (Labrador) almost refused to leave the house after two days stay. We also enjoyed garden fresh tree tomatos (never seen them before) and plucked Pitches from tree. Mobile signals are weak but there is wifi at home so had no problem. We went there as guests and left from there as family members with lots of good memories. I will pray for Uncle's speedy recovery. looking fwd to our next visit to Kotagiri.”

Party with sun setting behind the Mukruthi peak above the lake. Click hearts content in tiny idyllic gardens& with wall murals .Toast corns on bon fire while you relax on the deck& watch sparkle of night lights. A pet friendly secluded niche for all
“The booking process was relatively quick and was confirmed in less than an hour. Though we arrived late like around 7pm, Mr. Kennedy & Mr. Antony both were there to receive us, which was really a personal touch! About the property, it had an amazing view, located like on the edge of a cliff & was speck and clean, well maintained, clean interiors & extra fleece blankets! A bon fire was nicely set-up and we weren't disturbed by any means all through that wee hours party. Mr. Antony helped us make our breakfast next morning which was truly generous of him. The property is in the heart of the city from where you can have a beautiful view of the lake, the race course & the glimmering city at night. Watch out for a nice collection of books kept by Mr. Kennedy to those avid book lovers!”
This is a self-catering cottage with a bedroom/ living area, kitchen/dining room and an en suite bathroom. With exposed brick walls, walnut finished wood and hand painted tiles, Ivy Cottage is delightfully shabby chic. Rustic and yet luxurious, its red, white and black color theme and art work reflect local tribal culture and the animals of the Nilgiris. An entire wall of floor to ceiling windows look out on a private patio and gardens and a stunning view. Gardens are shared with other guests.
“The place is great and the information provided by the host was very helpful in deciding our trip. The place was very clean with all the basic amenities. The view was spectacular (especially the sunrise). The company of the dogs makes the stay more memorable (Azhagi followed us everywhere, Waza showed us the place were we can see the best view and Konjam was such a playful dog copying whatever the other two were doing). Time flies by playing with the dogs. I would surely come again to Mala's place on my next trip to Kotagiri/Ooty. I would recommend travellers to read the description carefully and then decide to book. This place may not be everyone's cup of tea. Things such as uneven driveway to Villa, roaming dogs, no restaurants, inconsistent network, no staffs during night, steep walking could bother many, but none was a problem for us. The stay and view is all worth all of it. I would recommend the place to everyone.”
