This quaint cottage sits among flowering gardens in summer, incredible fall foliage in autumn, & a wonderland in winter. Enjoy a cozy sleeping loft, outdoor fire pit, stargazing, & your own stone patios at the edge of the woods. We love to share our garden veggies, come pick your own! We are across the road from a lovely stream & 2 miles from Phoenicia in the hamlet of Chichester. The cottage is filled with lovely artwork inspired by our travels and every corner is a pleasure!

Dave even helped me with a small project in his shop the morning before we left! We loved their space, which reflects their travels internationally especially in Bali. I loved that the space is a way to share other cultures and support craftspeople from around the world in objects. We stayed one cozy winter night and would love to come back in the warmer months when we could enjoy the garden and sit around the campfire. Fully recommend!”

Big back yard in quiet neighborhood minutes from kingston, Woodstock, and Phoenicia. AShokan reservoir with wonderful hiking down the street. Perfect artist getaway or retreat for the outdoor type. Big picture windows for moonscapes, separate garage, double sink. Really sweet space!

We were provided extra blankets for the cold nights, there is an electric fireplace in the living room area and any other questions we had were answered right away! The host is wonderful and if you have the time you should definitely sit down and hang out with her. She provided a nice warm fire outside with pillows and blankets and great conversation. I seriously cannot wait to go back!! The area is super quiet and very close to the little town of Woodstock, so close you can even take an Uber there for a reasonable price. Look no further, book your stay now!!!”

Walk to prime hiking and fishing. 2 min drive to town restaurants, shops, other fun activities. NYC bus is walking distance. 20 minutes to major ski areas! All new custom full bath; and kitchen. Cozy king size loft bed sleeps 2 adults. Full size futon bed on ground level becomes a couch--with memory foam comfort. Wi-fi, landline phone; Verizon cell service only. Fire pit, grill. Gorgeous garden, brook, must see!

When we arrived, they gave us a tour of their lovely property and showed us around the guest house so we could see where everything was and how to use it. The guest house had everything we needed, plus some nice additions like a grill and a firepit that Steve helped us get going one evening. There are several patios and a hammock that are perfect to take in the sights and sounds of their garden oasis. The accommodations were stylish, clean, and comfortable with lots of thoughtful little touches. They even left us milk and half and half for our coffee in the morning! The location is fantastic for a getaway. Just a minute drive to the center of Phonecia which has cute little shops and places to eat. There are plenty of hikes nearby. We chose a casual one, Tanbark Trail, which had a great view and only took a couple hours. There are several day hikes nearby for the more serious hiker. We would love to go back and would highly recommend this stay to anyone considering.”
