Just 5 minutes' walk from village centre, the pretty home of craft designer is a haven of peace. The room looks onto a green patio. Fascinating view from the dining room/kitchen area onto the village. Bathroom next door to the bedroom. English, french, german and spanish spoken.
“Muriel's house is gorgeous . From the kitchen you can see Barichara's Inmaculada Concepcion Church and Suarez Canyon. The rooms were clean and cozy. The fresh wind in the afternoon is amazing for a coffee, tea, or wine and a book. Her house is near the Main Street in Barichara, so all you need to do is walk around this magic town. Her communication through WhatsApp is on time and you can manage great logistics with her. Muriel also has a Shop where you can get furniture and lamps. Finally, Muriel's friends in town are very kind, so asking her for any food or activity recommendation in town is a nice way to explore Barichara. If you are looking forward to cook, buy from the local market and enjoy the house's kitchen and the great view.”

FOR LOVERS OF NATURE and contemplation. You can visit the artisans and peasants cabuya share this experience, also walk to deep canyon chicamocha
“Staying in Nestor's house, in the Chicamocha Canyon, is living an authentic Colombian peasant experience with an excellent host, who puts the touch every moment with in his conversations on various topics, showing the stars and planets in his telescope, making the campfire and inviting you to the walks (if you have a good physical condition). We even did Karaoke at his house in San Gil and it was a lot of fun. The facilities are as shown in the photographs, without major luxuries, and include what is necessary for a good stay. The sunsets there are indescribable. I requested food service during my stay and I was surprised with the food that Dona Josefita prepares because it is delicious and super healthy. I recommend travelers wear a coat for the nights because it is quite cool.”
