“Nicola’s place is such a gem. Clean and the perfect extra touches to make you feel at home. The entire family is AMAZING and made my stay that much better. Buses and trains can be tricky but go to the bus stops and look at the signs, they are the most up to date. For the train, use google maps and hover over the train icon at the train station you’re using. The neighborhood is small and efficient. The best part are the two bakeries. One next door and the one a block away (the best one). Also, great pizza across the street and a grocery store all within a minutes walk. Very cool town and very welcoming people. I’ll miss it dearly. Thank you, Nicola, for your hospitality.”

“Some hosts say that they love what they do, but you know that hosting is primarily a business for them---and that's quite fine. But Marco is a rare find. He truly loves they joy of journeys. As he says, "when I talk about travels with my guests, it's like I'm traveling to those places I love again and again." We intended just a short stay at Marco's fabulous and rare 1500 year old tower dwelling, but after less than an hour after meeting Marco, we had cleared his kitchen table and worked out a three month plan of Italian travel with his recommendations guiding us. From providing us with his mom's homemade jam to introducing us to his favorite restaurant contacts and Villa owners, Marco blessed us with a true travel lover's insight. If you have a chance to meet him or his family, treasure the event and take his advice!”
