“Very comfortable, considered and well thought out accommodation. We could not have asked for more. The thoughtful touches were very kind and greatly appreciated. A truly fantastic host. We shall definitely be returning....again and again. Many thanks.”
Exclusive Shepherds hut located in the middle of a 2 acre field surrounding by wild and rural life. With stunning views across the valley, overlooking the Shropshire Hills, the Shepherds hut has everything you need to enjoy the British countryside at it's best. Conveniently located between Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Much Wenlock, it's is a perfect get-away for a couple wanting some stress free time.
“Wow, this is such a special place. The hut itself has been specially designed and built so that it is incredibly well thought out for a small space. It includes everything you need and such a comfortable and cosy bed. We loved not having to leave the hut to use the toilet as it was all inside but still felt outdoors and wonderful. For visiting in October we were worried about being cold but the heater heats the place up so quickly and we were really toasty. We even turned the heater off during the night and still stayed warm in the bed. The view is outstanding and blissful to wake up to. Luke was an amazing host who seemed to be willing to help us out with anything we needed but to be honest we just wanted to some time to ourselves and he picked up on this and left us to it. A perfect trip and getaway and we will definitely be going back. We would also highly recommend a walk down the track to The Pheasant for dinner, very welcoming pub with great local produce and yummy food.”
Spacious Private room with new en suite in seperate annex set in Oldbury , Bridgnorth in beautiful countryside location, 5 minute walk from Severn Valley Railway and the town centre.
“Great little place, just 10 minutes walk from all of the shops, bars and restaurants of Bridgenorth, but still a private and Quiet little hideaway for a few days getaway. No need for Netflix there was just about every DVD you could think of in the room! Sarah had supplied all number for local taxis, but also offers a taxi service herself if shes around and cheaper! which is great because taxis were scarce. Dont rely on your SATNAV to get you there from the main road as you'll never find it, especially in the dark.. Sarah knows this and gave us specific and simple instructions on how to get there In advance, so we found it no problem with them. There were copious amounts of tea, coffee, milk and sugar so no need to bother Sarah or pop to the shop. My only issue was no WIFI, but that's because I'm a social media junky... so that was 'My own' issue and I obviously I knew that in advance. I love Bridgenorth so it was great to spend a few days there, everyone was so friendly and lots to see and do. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the further.”
