“As I drove up to Bekah's house I was gobsmacked. It is an idyllic log house nestled in the most peaceful and picturesque valley. She walked down the long driveway to greet me and we discussed how to get my trailer situated as backing up is not my forte. That set the tone for a most blessed, healing, wonderful, and too short stay! The unit is lovely. I picked the bedroom with a view of the valley. The other room actually has a piano! For the first time ever my dog slept in front of the electric fireplace in the main area and didn't follow me to bed. Now I have to get an electric fireplace. Bekah knows the good spots in Lava Hot Springs. I was fortunate to spend an evening with her and her family at the pools. Right before I left I got to see the chickens and we found a bunch of little ducklings. I suspect the next guest will get to see baby ducks and chickens. I had never heard of Lava Hot Springs before but now it is etched in my heart as a favorite slice of time all because of Bekah's place. What a gift!!”
Cute bungalow with a rustic country feel. Located about 25 miles south of Pocatello, 7 miles west of Lava Hot Springs & 14 miles from snowboarders favorite Pebble ski area, makes this a great place to get away. NO CLEANING FEES!
“Definitely recommend! Wish our trip allowed for a couple days of downtime at Jessica's place, it was so comfortable and cute. The house was spotless clean and so many extra amenities available (she even had shampoo/conditioner) like extra towels and blankets as well as kitchen bits, which was nice, especially if you had more than just an overnight like we did. The pictures are very accurate and the kitchen was layed out nice and was bigger then I expected. The bed with en-suite bath was perfect for laying our heads down after a long days drive. Jessica was very responsive and the check in instructions were spot on. The house is easy to find and access.”

“As a great grandson of Iona Mikesell (the second owner of the old brick house) my husband Shawn and I have been wanting to stay for a long time. It was a wonderful stay. There is a lot of interesting local literature in the house and it was so much fun looking through all of it and finding information about Iona Mikesell and the house. Our only regret is our stay was not long enough. Brent and his granddaughter were helpful, friendly and full of tips about Soda Springs. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your unique and historic house!”
