“Just got back from a two night stay with my Mum and 6 month old son. The barn was amazing, even better than the pictures show. The living room has stunning countryside views through the huge window. Bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds and soft bedding. The views from the main bedroom were lovely. The travel cot and highchair were great extras. Lynda and Alan were great hosts, we received the warmest welcome and communication both before and during the stay was speedy. Would highly recommend staying here, we'd love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the lovely garden area.”

“We had a brilliant weekend here! It was just the escape we both needed. We walked into Alton and had lunch at the Ramblers Retreat (a gem) but spent the rest of the time by the fire relaxing or tucked up in bed as the heated blanket made it so cosy! We found the wood fired hot tub hard to get heated on the Friday, so on the Saturday Andy helped us out which was great and once we were in, it stayed hot for AGES! The cabin's location makes it perfect for a weekend away by the forest. Tip from us: pack minimally as storage space is minimal. If we returned, we'd try the summer so that we can make the most of the lovely outdoor space and BBQ, but we managed using just the induction hob which is a really good idea for places like this. We loved our winter weekend here. Thanks Sally and Andy (and your lovely dogs!) x”

“We had a lovely evening here and felt very comfortable. Lots of added extra touches that really made the trip. The shortbread, orange juice and other food left for us really made it. Also, my son loved feeding the ducks, chickens and fish in the morning. We didn’t get to meet Jaci, however, Fraser was very welcoming, informative and helpful. Also, really appreciate you making the second bed up for our arrival and the clear instructions on finding your place. Also had a lovely meal at the nearby pub, the dog & partridge. Would definitely be back if we visit Alton Towers again. Thank you both! Jasmine and family :)”
