Ironstone Miners’ mid-terrace cottage situated in a quiet village on the Cleveland Way in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
“We really loved the place. Everything we needed was in the cottage and more! Trish and her partner met us on the night and took time to explain the workings of the heating and tv. If you've not used solid fuel central heating please make sure you pay attention to their explanations and ask questions if you're unsure, they will take the time to make sure you're comfortable! It's very important (especially if it's cold) as the fireplace controls all of your hot water and heating. Trish checked in on us by text during the weekend and was even willing (if we had needed it) to come and re-light the fire!!”

“This house is spacious, well equipped, great location, great facilities, cosy and homely! Julie’s finishing touches and thoughtfulness is great, with cooked breakfast in fridge on arrival and other extras for anything you may have forgotten such as toothbrush or toiletries etc. Julie left all cleaning provisions as some cottages we stay in and pay the earth for don’t even leave a dishcloth, Julie leaves everything to make your stay homely and easy whilst enjoying your holiday. All 5 of us loved our stay at this property and have already re-booked for later this year (only due to the virus, otherwise we would be back next week!). Great access from the location to other places and straight onto the Whitby Rd that runs from just outside. House is clean and spacious and very comfortable! Looking forward to our next visit.”
A traditional, mid-terrace stone cottage, set on the main street in the village of Skelton-in-Cleveland, near the delightful seaside town of Saltburn. Cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped, it provides an excellent base for exploring the nearby dramatic coastline and the wonderful surrounding countryside. There is a fully enclosed rear yard, and a partly grassed small front garden.
“A lovely cosy pet friendly cottage, in a great location for exploring East Yorkshire. Bannister cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and was very clean. Great host with good communication throughout. We had a great break at Bannister cottage, definitely recommend.”
