Get away from it all in this secluded off-grid cabin. Inspired by traditional lean -tos and modern Swedish design. This minimal space features a wall of windows that makes you feel like you are sleeping in the trees, while staying cozy and dry! Relax, unplug, and listen to the nearby stream, birds, & the rustle of leaves.
“Out of all of the airbnb's weve stayed in, by far Yona & Elan's eco cabin was the most unique! Nestled in the middle of the woods this cabin was the absolute perfect getaway spot to spend time in nature surrounded by beautiful greenery, hiking/biking trails and at night the star filled sky made for a perfect evening .The space was sparking clean, communication was great and the suggestions of things to do within the area was amazing. We took full advantage of hiking to Minekill Falls as well as biking 12 miles of the Catskills scenic trail! I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin! We cant want to return!!! Youve definitely got a real gem! Thanks for a Wonderful weekend.”
Country accommodations with charm (and chickens) We welcome all who are looking for serenity. The space is an apartment that is the entire second floor of a “barn house” We are 40-60 minutes to Coooerstown, Windham, Hunter; 30 minutes to Oneonta and Cobleskill. We are located one mile from our small town. Our home is 1/4 mile off the road, nestled among maple trees, crabapples, shrubs, and flowers- a friend refers to our place as magical Narnia !
“This is a bright sunny carpeted space that was clean and spacious for two people. There was a Keurig coffee maker and plenty of clean towels. The bed was a firm (but not rock hard) queen sized mattress that didn’t sag. Although it was warm and there was no air conditioning, there are breezes at night and we were comfortable. We came for a weekend wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm and this was a perfect perch. Our host greeted us warmly when we arrived, and while we didn’t need to contact her I would not have hesitated if we had any issues. The one thing that was missing was a full length mirror. I find that useful in getting ready for a special event.”
Cabin Clack is a cozy, stream-side retreat bordering 1000 acres of wild trails in host-maintained Clapper Hollow State Forest. The area is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities and also offers plentiful organic farm stands in growing season. The cabin is good for a couple, solo adventurers, or families (with kids). We welcome pets, and they will love exploring the countryside and the freedom of our virtually traffic-free dead-end road.
“Staying in the Cabin means guaranteed peace of mind. Tom and Clara offer everything you could want in an Airbnb stay. Comfort in your dwelling, and trust in your host. In the Cabin you will find clean, cozy, and tasteful accommodations. Comfy mattress, quality bedding, diverse book selection and functioning amenities. There wasn't a doubtful moment in our first meeting with Clara and Tom. They are truly good hearted and friendly people whose decency and warmth is unquestionable. Also they have some great dogs. Whether you're looking to spend the day in the woods or simply find healing sanctuary away from stressful city life, the Cabin meets these needs and everywhere in between!”
