“Charming, shabby chic, comfortable, well appointed, perfect location and clean. Creative upcycling of decor items (a saw blade holder as kitchenette towel holder, birch slab with bark still attached as a shelf). If you care about glitz and glamour, this isn't a place for you. But if you want low key and quiet in a place that feels like the old family place on the ocean were the hosts are warm and welcoming, this is the perfect place. We loved it.”
Oceanfront property located in St. George NB overlooking two breathtaking private beaches on the beautiful Fundy Bay Coast. Nestled at the end of the road on a very private and safe 5 acre oceanfront property. Relax and take in the natural scenery
“My wife and I were blessed to enjoy this cozy cottage with its idyllic location on Paradise Point and thank Shannon and her family for the warm hospitality and for allowing others to experience the exquisite views and fabulous location on the Bay of Fundy. Pictures cannot do justice to the cottage, the amazing views and the smells of the ocean and pine forests. It truly is a little piece of Paradise. The location gives one a true sense of solitude and offers breathtaking views of the bay with its gorgeous sunsets, and daily variation from overcast and foggy to brilliant son and blue skies due to the dynamic weather patterns. As the cottage is located at the end of an isolated peninsula with water on three sides it gives one the sense of actually being on the water. It is amazingly private and quiet with the only sounds coming from the variety of sea birds, fishing boats coming and going as they tend the Atlantic salmon aquaculture, and of course the gentle sound of the sea lapping on the shore and the breeze in the pines. Bald eagles frequently perched in the trees or the rocks directly in front of the cottage. Deer come into the yard and a fox visited one evening. The sea level changes are dramatic with local tidal level variations of up to 6 meters offering tide pools for exploring and impressive viewing. There is a private secluded beach on one side of the cottage that becomes quite large at low tide. The cottage was spotless, special thanks to Shannon’s daughter, as I later learned. It is both welcoming and charming with everything one needs to settle in and make this home while visiting including warm bedding, linens and towels as well as a washer and dryer. The cottage has a spacious deck for viewing the bay, a gas barbecue for grilling, and windows in every room all providing outstanding views. Shannon provides a most helpful binder with excellent and well organized suggestions and lists of everything one needs including specific instructions and contact information. She and her family live only a short distance away, and she welcomes her guests to stop by and meet her family at their convenience. She is most gracious and supportive and prompt in her response to any and all requests while respecting her guest’s private time. We ate the majority of our meals in the cottage which is well stocked with all items necessary for cooking. All appliances were in good working order and there is ample hot water and electric heaters to keep the cottage warm and comfortable on the cooler days and nights. As Shannon notes there is a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, and the Wifi works extremely well. The local market, and speciality shops (with fresh seasonal seafood, excellent smoked salmon and fresh baked goods and fudge) will meet all your basic needs. The location facilitated easy access to St Andrews by the Sea (which offers whale watching, fine art and craft galleries and many shops) and St Stephens (Ganong world famous chocolate factory and museum)as well as the larger city of Saint Johns for any and all needs. The scenery in Saint Johns is highlighted by the reversing falls of the Saint John River (there is an excellent viewing structure with an excellent restaurant overlooking this reversal). There is a major highway facilitating easy access to adjacent cities with distances ranging from forty kilometers for St Andrews to seventy five kilometers for Saint John. I enjoyed attending local churches for services and breakfasts at the historic Algonquin Hotel in St. Andrews. We were fortunate to visit the cottage at the peak of the fall transformation of the deciduous tree leaves with the trees displaying the full spectrum of fall splendor guaranteeing truly spectacular views sure to amaze even the most discerning of us ‘leaf peepers’. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and highly recommend it to others seeking to get away from the normal hustle and bustle and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and the serenity of the ocean at Paradise Point, it is sure not to disappoint. Sincere thanks to Shannon and her family for sharing the cottage in this uniquely beautiful location. We feel especially blessed to have discovered the cottage at Paradise Point and for having been allowed to experience this amazing location and all it has to offer.”

“Absolutely perfect for what we needed. The beds are extremely comfy, the WiFi is great, lots of channels on the TV. The space itself is welcoming and it is very well located near the ferry and shopping. Parking is ample and off the street, the space itself is quiet. What more could you want?”
