Summit Hill Gardens Cottage, a little bit of paradise, is a place to enjoy solitude, peace and quiet. Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
“Patsy is incredibly thoughtful. From the bottles of water, to the fresh fruit, and the complimentary (homemade!) soap, she has made every effort to make her cottage your home away from home. It’s so refreshing and relaxing to have no television blaring, only 10,000 fireflies right outside the sliding glass doors as your entertainment. I’ve enjoyed my time in her quaint & cozy cottage on the hill.”
Two bedroom apartment overlooking the Humboldt city square.
“Absolutely amazing is an understatement. The place was far more spacious than the pictures. Amazingly clean. I can not say enough good things about it. I will be staying there every time I am in the area.”
Enjoy Neodesha’s original firehouse! 114 years of history echo through this local landmark. The firemen’s living quarters of this building have been lovingly restored and numerous local historic photos throughout of this building. Enjoy your stay in this renovated guesthouse always CLEAN & sleep on comfortable king mattress or a twin bed with NO CLEANING FEE. This location is ideal for up to 3 people. A rollaway bed is also available if needed, (ideal for a child) to accommodate up to 4 people
“This is the most charming place we have stayed. So many thoughtful little touches. The history of this firehouse is so amazingly captured without being too much. Kim and John have literally thought of everything. Comfortable climate, comfortable bed easy access and she even preloaded the coffee pot. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Kim and John for being wonderful hosts!!”
