NAMA-STAY from the Himalayas! 50 miles from Rishikesh & 46 miles from DehraDun. This listing is for a single bed (person). Kindly clarify before booking for more than 1 person. NAMA-STAY is located in Kanatal, a quite Himalayan hamlet abundant with deodar, pine, oak & rhododendron forests. We live amidst an apple orchard, the serene hills & the panorama of the Himalayas. What we do not promise: City crowd, hustle-bustle of traffic, branded luxury, & touristy vibes.
“Nama Stay is not just place to stay - It is an Experience that brings you closer to Yourself. The whole concept is amazing where you can express yourself creatively - paint, draw, sing , dance, meditate, be a writer, a poet, an artist and all of that without any judgements and with full support of hosts. Go and trek, meet local people, have lunch dinner together and revive the much lost human touch full of authenticity here. You won't need to wear the usual masks at this place with people who are way more mature than the age. The place is very quiet and full of natural beauty all around. Sunshine throughout the day. Hosts specially cared for me throughout my stay because I got some throat infection and that showed the great Heart they have full of Love and care. All in all, a highly recommended experience and Absolute Amazon hosts.”

“The experience begins with an enchanting hike through the woods with Manish giving you an insight of the flora and fauna (esp types of deodar and other trees). The forest gives way to a ridge where you see mud huts... The mud huts are very rustic but thoughtfully built using the native Garhwali technique. It takes you back in time to the forgotten culture. The amenities are basic yet does not compromise on any convenience. Great good.. amazing . Very friendly , courteous and caring staff. The view from the huts is just mesmerising and if weather is clear one can see Major peaks in yamunotri and Gangotri range. A must visit for someone who loves nature.. respects environment and wish to reconnect to oneself.”
