“Very nice stay at Saari village. This place is the perfect base to hike to Deoriatal Lake and Chopta_Tungnath_Chandrashila trek. The village is so picturesque and beautiful. From all around you can see beautiful Meadows, plantations, majestic mountains and both Channdrashila and Tunghnath Peaks The room itself was clean, had attached bathrooms and all other amenities that we needed to have a restful nights sleep Mr Birendra and his wife were very kind to attend to any small requests that we had. We had breakfast and dinner at his place all 2 nights and the kitchen staff made the best home cooked meal that we all enjoyed. It was very healthy as well Bc of the winter chill, Mr Birendra had also arranged for wood fire in the night. We all say around the fire and enjoyed the fresh clean air of the mountains I highly recommend this homestay and without a hesitation will be back again”

“Vinod and his family are the perfect hosts! The place with the terraces and view over the village are amazing. Vinod gave us local advice, but also reviewed our future travel plans and made very good recommendations. Uttarakhand is lovely; as travelling takes quite some time by motorbike (think about 30-40 km per hour due to the excellent and beautiful hairpins and green valleys, we had to adjust our plans. Thanks to Vinod, we have and are seeing the most amazing places in Uttarakhand while keeping our driving time limited to 4 to 7 hours a day (including stops). Vinod and his family are very famous in the village and everybody loves them for a good reason. Visit Vinod and if you like to support his NGO, your help will be much appreciated!”
