“Grandpa’s cabin was the best decision we made! The hosts were amazing and provided us with everything we needed! The cabin itself is an art piece! Real wood and gave us that “home” feeling. It had so many decorations or art pieces including photography that added to the wonders of this cabin. It is definitely filled with history and worth the experience. Memorable place with a full open view to the simplicity of the quiet life. It gave us the peace and relaxation we wanted. Definitely a great getaway from the busy city!”

“This cozy, comfortable and spotlessly clean cabin near the Mississippi River was quiet (except for trains, which really didn't bother us a bit!) and secluded. It was a treat to wake up to the sun shining on the Mississippi with the birds just chirping away. Cute dishware and great glassware made it feel like home away from home. Sitting out on the deck was a treat! The host was quick to respond and was pleasant to communicate with. I highly recommend this place if you need a quiet getaway!”
This cabin is located on the serene backwaters of the Mississippi. It is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway, or ideal spot to rent for fishing tournament‘s or duck hunting. “The view from the house is INCREDIBLE! We woke up in the morning, sat up in bed, and looked right at the flowing river through the big west-facing windows. We spent the whole day on the deck, soaking up the sun and the views. At night, we built a campfire in the fire pit and watched the sunset. This place is perfect for a relaxing evening by the river. The kitchen has all the basics and the bathroom is bigger than expected for such a small space. We would definitely stay here again!”
