“This was a superb location. We would definitely stay again. The space isn't even fully represented by pictures because it's so awesome. The couch and bed were very comfy even for several nights. The rain kept us inside, but the view is breathtaking. Even still we were able to open the door and use screens to feel like we were outside. The extra touches, such as beach towels, snacks, and toiletries, were nice. We were extra surprised to find a bottle of wine in the fridge to celebrate our honeymoon. The host was excellent with communication and quickly answered messages. She even reminded us about check out procedures in a courteous and timely manner. As an added bonus, it was an easy drive to LBL and the lakes, but it was still secluded enough for a get away. I would tell you to book this place.”
Historic loft in one of the oldest buildings in Princeton, KY. Updated with preserved integrity. Trail of Tears/Local museums/Nice downtown vibe Walk to groceries/restaurants/shops. 15 min. to lakes. 20 min. to LBL. 40 min. to Paducah.
“Beautiful loft in downtown Princeton. Very high ceilings. Full of light. Great layout, charming decor. Very clean. Host Nancy and husband Buz are very responsive, A/C repaired in less than 24 hours. Internet was fast and reliable, went out once for a few hours, came back on its own. Kitchen is very well equipped. Favorite local find: Pleasant Valley Bulk Foods, for all kinds of nuts and cheeses. And candies if you like that. Also recommend: Kay's Kitchen for breakfast. Trover Fitness Center, gym and pool. Great Wall Chinese buffet. Walmart (yes I typed that). Carousel Laundry, lots of big machines. Service plus for office supplies and shipping. Joseph's Storage Bin for thrift shop buying, donating, or volunteering. Princeton Art Guild is vibrant. Elk & Bison Prairie. Urban Paradise Produce, honor-system farm-stand in the summer. Farmer's Market on Thursday and Saturday in the summer. No recycling anywhere in town. Street noise includes occasional motorcycles and muffler-free muscle cars. Like many old buildings this home is porous to the outside air which is not always fresh. Local post office is friendly but clumsy, check in with them if you use mail. A wonderful home in a very friendly town, I'd love to visit again someday. Thanks, Nancy, you were fantastic. Very responsive and attentive. Your thoughtful touches all over the home were appreciated.”
