A mile away, you'll find Deep Eddy Pool (spring fed and open year round), Lion's Municipal Golf Course (18 holes in the heart of Austin), and Lake Austin's waterfront dining. There is access to public transportation (bus) within walking distance (less than a mile). The walk is doable but not incredibly pedestrian friendly. Please note that Via Libre is an upstairs apartment without elevator access. Via Libre requires a 2 night minimum on weekends. We are happy to work with you to accommodate special requests. We can arrange to have your kitchen stocked in advance, prepare your room with flowers and wine, coordinate dry-cleaning, or help you develop an itinerary for your stay. Guests have said many times that the space is much better than the pictures indicate so I took new pictures. They have said the place was beautiful. Everyone has been happy staying here.
