Alki Beach View Home, Two Blocks Above the Beach

Start the day with coffee brewed in the gorgeous designer kitchen, with its cherry cabinets and granite counters. Then slide open the living room doors to drink it on the deck while admiring the Puget Sound and mountain views from this home perched two blocks above Alki Beach in West Seattle. At the end of the day, use the gas grill to prepare salmon you picked up fresh at the Pike Place Market and gather around the dining table in the great room to enjoy with a glass of fine wine. Curl up in front of the gas fireplace and unwind with a book or your favorite show on the huge smart TV. Great Room Layout: The main living space is light and airy, arranged in an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Leather couches ground the living room and provide a cozy space to curl up and read, work on a laptop, watch satellite TV, or enjoy the gas fireplace. From the living room, sliding doors open unto a large view deck which overlooks Alki Beach and has 180 degree views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. You'll love using the gas grill to cook the fresh salmon you bring back from the Pike Place Market. Prepare the rest of your dinner in the gorgeous designer kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite counters and stainless appliances-at the heart of the great room, then gather around the long dining table to savor a bottle of wine and great company. In the morning, enjoy a cup of freshly ground Pike Place Roast coffee while gazing at the view from the bar or cocktail table. Bedroom/Bathroom Layout: The lower level offers a master suite with king-sized bed and ensuite bath. Two additional bedrooms each have comfortable queen-sized beds and share the remaining full bath. Also included on the lower level is a laundry room, which adds convenience for longer stays. Parking: It is easy to park two cars at the unit, one inside the single car attached garage and the other in the driveway. Additional parking is available for free on the street nearby. Explore Capitol Hill from a Roomy Apartment

This en-suite is located on the lower level of a newly renovated Victorian home, with a private side entrance and easy key less system. Natural light brightens this space, which includes full kitchen and laundry. Recently updated colors and new furnishings, including two very comfortable queen beds and a kitchen table with four chairs. The location is outstanding; close to tasty eateries and fun night life but a few streets away from the noise and parking challenges sometimes associated with Capitol Hill. 850sq ft space with radiant heat and full bathroom, which includes a bath tub and shower. Guests have a private side entrance with key less system, private full bathroom, private en-suite kitchen, and private laundry. Great for rental cars: unlike a lot of Seattle and especially Capitol Hill, the street has ample parking that is free and without permit required. Separate thermostat for climate control. I travel quite a deal but also work from home and make time for guests if they would like more interaction. I am relaxed about this but do enjoy meeting new people. There is a key less entry system that makes it easy to coordinate arrival and departure. I love Seattle and am enthusiastic about offering suggestions for local eateries and experiences to enjoy. The house is on a tree-lined street in the prominent Capitol Hill neighborhood. Volunteer and Interlaken parks are merely blocks away. Feeling peckish? There are many options for great food and drink within a 15-minute walk. Bus drivers are friendly and the #10 & #12 buses depart 1 & 3 blocks away, respectively, for prominent points, like Pike/Pine Corridor (6 minute bus ride) or Pike Place Market (20 minute bus ride). Finally, the #43 also leaves nearby and is a ten minute bus to the University of Washington campus. UberX is alive and well on Capitol Hill, with an average fare to Broadway or Pike/Pine about $5 and $10 to downtown. Of course there are regular cabs, bike-share and driving options. If you will have a car the street in front of the house plenty of parking. I'm happy to offer more clarity if you have questions - please ask prior to booking. In addition to the two queen beds, if you may need more room, there are two additional bedrooms in the main/shared part of the house with a separate Air bnb listing. I can usually make most things work - let me know your needs and I will try to accommodate you.
