TV with DVD/Video/Stereo Quiet seaside setting .100 meters to safe swimming beach .Southend is central to great south east tourist attractions, such as the Coonawarra and Mt Benson wine regions, Volcanic crater lakes including the Blue Lake, Naracoorte Caves and diving caves. Close to other popular beaches such as Robe and Beachport. Southend is adjacent to the Canunda National Park for 4WD enthusiasts. Southend is perfect for fishing, sailing, swimming or just lazing on the beach. A surf beach is situated between Southend and Beachport. Southend has a small shop that is licensed and sells basic groceries. It has a takeaway fish and chip shop open weekends (6 days during summer).There is a local community club open weekends (open for meals in summer).Restaurants and other shopping is available in Beachport and Millicent, both a short drive away. We would like to stress this property is our own beach house. It is not resort standard accommodation. There isn't any air conditioning only fans and basic heating. Our pricing reflects this. It should be viewed as a comfortable base for exploring the area and other activities : fishing, boating, surfing and 4 wheel driving.

The Shouse (shed/house), built in 2017 is a unique space located in a hidden pocket of Beachport. Within walking distance to the centre of town, beach and scenic drive it is the perfect getaway. Located at Durrants lookout where you can enjoy walks to the back beach and lake of Siloam. A funky and cosy warehouse styled accomodation with great outdoor pergola to relax. Lounge, kitchen/dining and bathroom are on the lower level with bedrooms upstairs. There is plenty of room for your boat too!

Luxurious bedding and comfortable furnishings will leave you well rested. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials and more. Pelican Point is a peaceful beach town 25 minutes from Mount Gambier. Our secluded little town is the perfect place to get away from it all. We love our little beach shack and hope you will too. With the beach at your doorstep it's impossible not to feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. Main shopping is at Mount Gambier, but Carpenters Rocks general store is 2 minutes away. For those travelling with your fur families, we are happy to welcome house trained pets.

Bear Cottage - Natural wonders

Bear Cottage is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage and has a nice slow combustion fire fitted in the lounge area and lovely feature wall of Native Australian pine. The bathroom has a shower over bath and is fitted out with red cedar and Blackwood. The cottage is Tim and Pam's eclectic mix of antiques' wood, bears and a touch of art deco. PS. The maximum guests incl. children is 6. Airbnb give us no way of listing max. number of people, only adults.
