Nice high standard cabin for rent. Located in a small private cottage area with a short distance to Norefjell ski resort. Hiking and skiing trails in the immediate vicinity. The nearest village is Noresund. There you will find shops and a gas station. 1st floor contains hallway, storage room, large bathroom with sauna, 1 bedroom with family bed, (Space for 3), Living room and open kitchen solution. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. The cabin, built in 2014, is beautifully situated by Holmevatnet at Fagerfjell with a view down to the lake. The cabin has all modern amenities, parking right outside the door, and sleeping space for 9. Swimming opportunities are right below the cabin, and ski trails are on the other side of the road. Excellent sun conditions, with sunlight all day from sunrise until it disappears behind the trees around 21:30 in the summer. Idyllic both in summer and winter! 1 hour and 50 minutes from Oslo.

The rental is located down in the valley with a view to the mountains. The house is a part of the Leir farm. It is eight minutes to drive to start of the alpine lift, and twenty minutes if you want to drive up the mountain. And if you want to ski up, the trails go over the fields all the way to the ski lift, provided there is enough snow. Or you can make your way along the old farm road through the forest. It starts behind the stable There are beds for 12 guests. Bed linnen are included.
