The Bougnat Loft 🧑‍🌾

The main farm was built around 1720 by the Varennes family, lords of Bois-Rigaud in Usson. There is mention in the archives of the monastery of Sauxillanges of a 16th century sheepfold, still existing. 80 m2 of authenticity and tranquility with this original loft set on an isolated hill, surrounded by 50 hectares of forests, crops and meadows. Ideally located in the heart of Auvergne with a magnificent view of Puy de Dôme and the Sancy mountains. You will also find a lake with supervised swimming during the summer season, zip line and amethyst house in Vernet la Varenne, 25 minutes' drive from the gîte.

You will appreciate the cabin for its location: the breathtaking view of "Little Auvergne Tuscany" and the Chaîne des Puys on the horizon (it dominates), the forest atmosphere, access to the paths, the feeling of being in a nest.
