To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Here you can relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Skogen is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. The other two are Røysa and Åkeren. The farm is located about 10 km from the center of Lillehammer(not walking distance)with a great view of southern part of Lillehammer. The apartment is on the top floor of the main house and contains 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, dining room with sleeping alcove and a large living room where some space can be converted into a sleeping alcove. There are opportunities to make use of the garden and outdoor area. We have 6 chickens and 2 cats.

Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.
