Isabel’s Cottage is owned by Lisa & Ivan. We live just next door. Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

A lovely self contained studio situated a ten minute walk from the beautiful market town of Cockermouth. With ample free parking, and great wifi. Our studio has its own private entrance and key lock box. Inside there is a fully fitted kitchen, large flat screen TV, 2 seater recliner sofa, dining area, king sized bed(or can be split into 2 single beds with prior notice) en-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries and towels plus a decent hairdryer.
