The cabin has a large jetty on the downhill side of the cabin. Isefjærfjorden normally has the highest sea bathing temperature in Norway (Reiseradioen). It's a short distance to the zoo, 15 km. The cabin has a steep slope at the front, but it is fenced. There is a parking space with a main road to the cabin and with the cabin, a somewhat narrow road up to the cabin. Relax with your family at Hønsehuset. Unique small cottage between Lillesand and Dyreparken with a total of 6 beds! In 1965, the old chicken coop was converted to a rental cabin, hence the great name😊 The cottage is an annex, but although the houses are close together, it feels both private and peaceful. There is an opportunity to swim from a private jetty, about 90 meters to the sea. Otherwise, the cabin has a small garden and a porch in the back. It takes 10-12 minutes to drive to Dyreparken, and 7 minutes to Lillesand.
