Kitchen with basic equipment, fridge/freezer, stove with oven, microwave, toaster. No dishwasher. Toilet with toilet, shower, sink and storage cabinet. The guest house is located on the same lot as the cottage hosts' house. Welcome!

Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Free wifi, hot tub, 3 meters from water, quiet and nice, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, floor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning should be done before you check out and should be thoroughly done, for example, vacuum, dry the floors, dust the bathroom and the kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included to the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

In Molkom 10 minutes away there is a shop, pharmacy, etc. * There is much to discover in the beautiful surroundings! Nature reserve, wonderful forests with nice hiking trails. Lakes with good fishing opportunities all year round. From the house, it is 350 metres down to Lake Västra Örten with a nice beach. 🌟The cottage is under renovation, new photos will be posted as it becomes clear. 🌟

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksberg Manor: 19th century or older. In this farm the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – d. 1790) is said to have lived. On a stone in the foundation of the courtyard should be a carving with Nils name. Picture of this stone can be found in the Värmland archive's foot archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present. It's probably hidden by mortar covered over the rocks.
