Converted Barn 2 Bedroom Cottage

Our cosy cottage is well equipped and modern with rustic features with original beams throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped for those that like to cook as well as having an award winning pub in the village. We have a great location, a few miles from stunning lakeland countryside in the quietest part of the lakes with easy access to Crummock (great for wild swimming), Loweswater, Buttermere and Ennerdale. St Bees , the start of the coast to coast walk and other beaches are not far away.

Our open-plan, self contained apartment is sandwiched in an elevated position between the Western Lakes and the Solway Coast. Offering fantastic links to much of Cumbria. Laal Yan has been decorated with peace and tranquility in mind. Rest and recuperate while enjoying the idyllic countryside. Visiting for exercise and adventure, work or to see local family, our accommodation offers the perfect base. Guests have called it a calm and cosy oasis, and that is exactly what we hoped to create.

Wake up to a great view.

Enjoy wonderful views of the Ennerdale fells, extending to Pillar and Steeple. The spacious, comfortable accommodation forms the main section of a larger semi-detached property. You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied.
