Perfect for walkers, fishing & paddle boarding on the lake In its own grounds away from the lane, entirely private & south facing, the old mill stream runs alongside, the house has amazing views and is a haven for bird life which gathers on the lake shore.

A characterful cosy cottage for two (Super King zip link or twin beds) in beautiful Arkengarthdale, the most northerly of The Yorkshire Dales, with large walk-in shower. There are stunning walks from the door, along Arkle Beck, through picturesque woods or onto open moorland. Secure cycle storage is available, the area is perfect for on and off-road cycling and we can advise guests on some great routes. A village pub, and a highly regarded hotel restaurant are a short walk away. Sorry, no pets.

Outside is a patio garden & furniture. Enter via a double height dining hall, to an open plan kitchen and living room, traditionally furnished with exposed beams and deep window recesses. Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

Beautiful little cottage with a hottub and modern interiors. Great sized garden, perfect for use with the BBQ. Brilliant location within Teesdale. Hamsterley Forest, Raby Castle, Barnard Castle, High Force, Bishop Auckland and Kynren all within a short drive. With a ten minute walk to Cockfield, there is a friendly local pub, shops, butchers, takeaway and newsagent.
