Towels, bed linen, usual necessities provided Heating; oil filled radiators. Nice river side walk into town. Off road parking, room for bikes.

The Soup Kitchen.

The Soup Kitchen is an architecturally designed renovated cottage dating back to 1840. This 'upside down' house boasts a spacious lounge, kitchen, dining room & bathroom upstairs & three double bedrooms & bathroom downstairs. The lounge has a veranda overlooking the garden with a small seating area where you can sit for that early morning coffee or late night glass of wine. Outside in the cabin is a hot tub and the enclosed rear garden has a lovely decked area with seating for eating outside.

Built in 2000, the Annexe is a modern attachment to the owner’s home. Designed with privacy in mind, it is situated above the property’s double garage and is accessed by a private external stairway. In an elevated position with panoramic views over adjoining farmlands to Kirkcudbright Bay and the Solway Firth, the Annexe is a self-contained wing of the owner's recently built home. It is delightfully light and comfortable, everything you'll need for a relaxing holiday.

An old stone bothy converted in 2017, the accommodation offers a private open plan space with it's own entrance, patio garden and parking. Situated on a smallholding looking out to sea in a beautiful region on the Solway coast, secluded beaches and coves are only a 15 minute stroll and the artists town of Kirkcudbright a short drive away. We offer a 15% discount for weekly stays.
