Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

The Ewe is a bespoke luxury shepherds hut which comes with double opening front doors, underfloor heating, a king sized bed, fully fitted kitchen and an en-suite. This hut is a genuine all-year round getaway option. The Ewe is situated in a secluded woodland area with fantastic views of fells, fresh pastures and woodland which is packed with British wildlife, especially our famous red squirrels.

Tawny Cottage is one of three fully-equipped and dog-friendly cottages set around a pretty courtyard in stunning natural surroundings. Surrounded by woodland and fell - watch deer and other wildlife from your back door. Away from the crowds but close to everything the Lake District has to offer. Magnificent views from the end of the drive south towards Skiddaw, and the Solway Coast to the north.

Fabulous cottage in the Lake District National Park. This cottage has outstanding views directly across to Sale and Ling fells and is a short stop away from Keswick along the shores of Bass Lake, with Lorton valley close too. The cottage is within 70 ft of the pet friendly village pub and a similar distance from the local hotel and spa. The amazing views can be seen from the patio and the master bedroom, allowing you to bask in the delights of the best of the lake district.

Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
