“Aimee and Peter's place was exactly what I needed; a comfy, peaceful and relaxing retreat. The location is perfect for hiking in the Chuckanut Mountains and grabbing some delicious food from Bellingham. The views from the deck of the lookout were absolutely gorgeous. The bathroom was a quick walk to the back of the house as was the hot tub which was so nice after my hike. Aimee and Peter were quick to respond and helpful when I needed extra utensils. The couch/bed and recliner were very comfortable and I loved watching all the birds come to the feeder outside on the deck. Everything about The Lookout was wonderful and I will definitely be back!”
Amy and I rescued and updated this neighborhood, turn of the century, 800+ sf character home in 2016. The Bungalow is located within walking distance of both WWU (1 mile) and downtown Bellingham (0.8 miles) and the neighborhood boasts several great breweries and dining options. The bungalow is located on a dead end, single-family street.
“Our stay at Chris and Amy's place was a lovely experience. The house was absolutely spotless, comfortable and stocked with basically everything that we needed. The location is great too! The place is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood very close to downtown and the grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!”
The "Aloha Suite" is the name we have given our guest room attached to the south end of our garage. It is a separate building near our home and shop buildings. The room's decor is tropical, with, we hope, the spirit of "aloha" present.
“This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. Terry was great and a very sweet host. We had everything we needed for our short stay and they were even generous with their garden. Just about 15 min outside of Bellingham, it’s a great way to relax and stay close to amenities! Makes me want to go back to Hawaii too 😊”
