We are situated at the center of Dutchess County, about one and a half hour north of New York City. This puts you within easy reach of many places of interest in all directions. Beautiful rural towns like Rhinebeck, Hudson, New Paltz at the foothills of the mountainous Catskill area and the artist community of Beacon, to name a few.

With resident beach access at three points on the half-mile dead-end street, it’s great for couples or families to enjoy privacy on a weekend escape or a vacation. Squantz Pond is a much quieter lake adjacent to Candlewood, but has all of the bigger amenities right nearby. Across the lake is State Park land - completely undeveloped - providing beautiful year-round views!
