Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

The deck is a great to enjoy your complimentary continental breakfast or hot tub. The fully equipped kitchen also has views of the lake. During winter months, an AWD or 4WD is recommended.

It's a cozy creative home to relax in, and a clean, newly remodeled duplex unit with fully stocked kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and pet friendly.

There is a front/back porch to enjoy Colorado sun with your own private hot tub (included in the price). Sorry, no pets! Secure your food there’s been a bear seen in the neighborhood !!

Mountain Escape

Great forest escape in the mountains. Our house offers space to come together as a family, slow down and enjoy nature. The fresh, cool mountain air is refreshing and inviting. Like most mountain homes, our house does not have AC as the breeze keeps the house cooler. During those unseasonably warm times, the box fans in the windows keep the air flowing and trips to the lake or river are just perfect! We have upgraded our internet and are averaging speeds over 100 MBPS.
