La Casa del Mestre is a small, magical corner in the heart of the mountain, located a few meters from a small village called Aielo de Rugat. In each of its two independent rooms, we offer you the possibility of spending a few days as a couple or with the family in the middle of nature and enjoying the pleasure of discovering yourselves between routes, silence, readings, activities, rest, sports... you decide. The house. The house (built between 1910-1920) is one of the few traditional Mediterranean-style buildings in the area that has been preserved and has not been demolished in order to build apartment blocks. The spirit of the house is humble and simple, although from the first moment you cross the entrance gate, its cozy and unique essence invades you. This unique character can be seen in every detail around you and in every corner of the house.

El Descanso del Monje

The house was built by Cistercian monks in 1723. Its walls are 150 cm thick downstairs and you can breathe peace and quiet inside. In ancient times it was a resting place for monks and farm workers and shepherds sheltered their animals in the building pens. It is oriented towards the Mediterranean, and through its windows you can feel the freshness of the breeze blowing from the sea: warm in winter, cool in summer.
