The apartment is located 70 m from the Bardu river, a popular fishing river and with easy access to the river bank. In the apartment there is underfloor heating in the hallway and living room, large kitchen with coffee machine and large bathroom. It has one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Here in the Arctic North there is little light pollution and that enables very good northern lights conditions right outside the door.

The area is a good location to see northern lights and arctic animals. Here you can fish in the fjord that is icy 6 months a year, go mountain hikes in the nearby area or drive into Tromsø which takes about 30 minutes. Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.
