Lug Beag

Lug Beag is a totally refurbished cottage, new to airbnb since July 2018; situated up a private, long and winding lane, in the heart of a working organic farm, at the Eastern tip of the Ox Mountains. Whether it is hill walking, cycling, surfing, angling, or just chilling, all are within easy reach of Lug Beag. Collooney village is only a 2 minute drive away, with shops, pharmacy, post office, pubs, Churches, a café, take aways, a train station, play ground and a soft play centre. Sligo Town is a 10 minute drive away, with larger shops, and award winning restaurants, cinema and the Hawks Well Theatre. Ballisodare is a neighbouring village on the Wild Atlantic Way, a 5 minute drive away. Beautiful scenic beaches such as Dunmoran Strand and Roses Point are 15 minutes away by car, and the surfing mecca Strand Hill is 20 minutes by car. Knock airport is a 40 minute drive away. The Space. Lug Beag has 4 bedrooms - 2 doubles (one is en-suite) and 2 twins, plus a large living space comprising kitchen, dining and living areas. Also a bathroom plus spacious utility room, a secure garage, and a large patio in the enclosed patio to the rear of the cottage. There is oil fired central heating, plus a wood burning stove in the living room. Our house is not visible from the cottage, but it is only a stone's throw away. Your only other neighbours are hens, duck, pigs, goats, sheep, and cattle.

This restored 100 year old stone cottage is not just a place to come, it's a place to return to. Its idyllic location offers peace and relaxation. It's 6 miles north of Boyle and approx 15 miles from Sligo. Lough Arrow is one of Ireland’s renowned brown trout lakes. Guests have their own private jetty at the end of the garden, fishing is free and our boat is available to hire at extra cost. Carrowkeel's Megalithic tombs, older than Newgrange, are just across the lake and wonderful to explore.

Only 15 minutes from Ireland West Airport, Knock, our place is located on the Sligo / Mayo border in a beautiful rural location surrounded by farmland and lots of peace & tranquility !! It is located behind our house in the back garden but your privacy is always respected. Ideally located in the picturesque town of Boyle with only a 3 minute walk from shops, restaurants and friendly local pubs. Located 5km from the stunning Lough Key Forest Park facility. Boyle has many attractions like the Abbey and King House.

The cabin is located in a beautiful scenic and secluded area surrounded by trees and wildlife close to the Bricklieve mountains and the Carrowkeel megalithic tombs. Facilities include tea and coffee, a toaster and a mini fridge. No pets. Shower and toilet. There are many walking routes in the area and also fishing close by. It is approx. 20 mins drive from Sligo town and 2.5 hrs from Dublin. There is a pub which serves food approx. 2kms from the cabin. NO SMOKING

Only 15 mins from Sligo town 25 mins from Carrick on Shannon and 15 mins from Coolaney National Mountain bike park. Shop's and pub's and parks are less than 3 mins walk. As the name suggests, this property is a converted granary which is located on our farm. Escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a farm stay. We have sheep, horses, hens, a dog, a pig and two alpacas which can be seen on Quarryfield Farm Experience's social media pages. Less than 2km from the village of Bunninadden. 8km from Tubbercurry where the hit TV series Normal People was filmed!
