Relax and enjoy quiet rural stay with the family at our lodge. A 20min walk to Ballylee tower and the river stop, the summer home of Yeats, and the river crossing from 'The Quiet Man'. Close to Coole park, a 5 minute drive, and just 10 minutes off the wild Atlantic way and the Gateway to the Burren. We are a 13 minute drive from kinvara., 6 minutes from gort, 15km from clarinbridge, and 30km to Galway city. A 45 minute drive from Shannon Airport off the m18.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
