A bright and airy ground floor one bedroom cottage. Sliding doors from both the lounge and bedroom open out onto a large private decked terrace overlooking the gardens with lovely views. Wheelchair accessible throughout. Lounge, kitchen and dining area are open plan and fully equipped with a dishwasher, built-in oven and microwave, induction hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Luxury super king size bed (can also be made into twin single beds) and a large ensuite wet room.

Fabulous round house on the west coast of Scotland

The DRUM at Dunmore is a stunning elliptical house with a sloping roof and high ceilings, clad in charred larch with orange window frames and painted wooden floors. Designed by architect Roderick James and built by a crack team of smashing local chaps, the Drum is a perfect bolt hole for two. It has a wood burning stove and a big squashy velvet sofa, floor to ceiling triple glazed windows and is nestled in woodland on a small estate (complete with castle) and just moments from the sea.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Taigh na Dhot is within easy travelling distance to distilleries at the north end of the Island. A 10 minute drive to the ferry terminal at Port Askaig. Craigard cafe is in the village and a short walk away is the award winning whisky bar at Ballygrant Inn which has excellent food reviews also. The main township of Bowmore is a 15 minute drive away.
