The Penthouse

This modern apartment takes up the entire first floor of a 1905 historic storefront building. Just one block from downtown, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and grocery store are all within walking distance. The Great Room boasts 14-foot ceilings, fireplace, reclining sofas, billiard table and dining for 6-8. A fully stocked kitchen and laundry round out this luxurious three bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Schaffer Old Rock House

The Old Rock House is made of native limestone and was built by my father, O.C. Schaffer upon his return to Oakley in 1946 following his WWII service in the Army Air Corp. The home has the original hardwood floors, cabinets, and most of the work wood he constructed himself. As my childhood home I have restored it as I remember it growing up.
