LAZAR Guesthouse

The Lazar guesthouse is a traditional Szekler Hungarian wooden house in 1941 in Siclod, a small Szekler Hungarian village established around 1241-1254. The house was used only a few occasions for living in it, so the house needed very little restoration work. Our guests can enjoy one of the last Transylvanian - Szekler Hungarian rural lifestyle, that truly gives a time-traveler feeling - but with the comfort of the 21st century. Relax in the heart of Szeklerland in a Transylvanian village setting. Our guesthouse is located in a quiet part of the settlement, giving you an insight into the traditional village life. Within walking distance are the Küküllő River, Village Center, convenience store, pub, church, pálinka house. Sovata Bear Lake, Parajdi Salt Mine and Bath, Korond is a short car away. Segesvár, Târgu Mureş, Székelyudvarhely 40km. On request, a tractor trip can be booked in the village and surrounding fields.

The small bazaar is 10 km from the Szekely Crossur, along the Gagy Creek. Entering the gate of Bea-Lak, there is an amazing view of the guest, as the house is surrounded by a forest and stream. The tranquility that passes makes all those looking happy and balanced. For those looking for an active vacation, there are plenty of hiking and recreation options: walking tours, field walks, herbalism, wildlife, and more. We refurbished this old house with a combination of modern & old design, using 100+ years old wood in furnitures, stairs, beds... and quality fabric for curtains, sofas... Most of the things in house made & designed by us all the woodwork, lamps and some pictures from 40 years ago. Every single detail in this house has it's own story, if you like I can tell later on... This house has a spacious living and kitchen area and the best thing I think the JACUZZI hot tub!!! I HOPE YOU'LL LIKE IT!
