Drumgarry is a large 3 bedroom cottage with massive kitchen diner and lovely living room which looks out across the secluded garden to the sea and the Knoydart hills beyond. The house has beautiful mature gardens which go all the way around and has many interesting areas, places to sit, different aspects on the view while still being extremely private, peaceful and secluded. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. The master bedroom has a French door leading out onto a decked balcony which looks out again, across the majestic view of the sea and mountains in the distance. The other rooms also have views across the pretty garden. There is a bath and shower across two wcs and both are pleasant and nicely decorated. Outside there is a wonderful garden and there is a large decking area with built in bench dropping to a large patio which is perfect for summer-time sun bathing, fires and barbecue evenings.

It is in the grounds of our house and we have created a nice decking area. 2 easy chairs and also folding table and chairs that can be used outside or in. This is an ideal location to stay a night or 2 for exploring the South of the Island or as a stopover for catching the Armadale to Mallaig ferry, just 3 mins drive away. (20 minutes walk). It's also ideal for kayakers or walkers. The bothy is next to the host's artist’s studio which it is possible to see by arrangement. With rocky coast and woodland behind, and the sea almost lapping at the front door, this simple but stylish bothy has everything you could need for the most restful of breaks.

Locally we are in walking distance to Toravig distillery we have private access to knock beach and are situated 10 mins drive to Armadale ferry service.Broadford the second largest township on the island is a 15min drive from us .

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.
