The cottage has three bedrooms and a living room/kitchen, perfect for families or friends who want to spend quality time together. The plot is large with lawn and several patios perfect for dining or relaxation. On the beach, there is a wood-fired sauna and a private dock. Two-person kayak and SUP board are available to borrow for those who want to explore the lake from the water. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Mariehamn.

The cottage offers everything you need for a holiday for a family or a small group on its own island without neighbours. The cottage has its own sauna, beach and pier. The newly renovated kitchen provides a perfect setting for cooking and dinner can be enjoyed on the newly renovated terrace admiring the sea view. A solar panel provides the necessary electricity and the cottage has its own well for drinking water. A boat trip to the nearest village and restaurant takes just five minutes.

Experience the best of both sea and land activities. 2 kayaks (1 child size), 2 SUP boards, a rowing boat with engine and fishing equipment as well as three bicycles will be at your disposal. Welcome to Lunsberg! Here, life is quiet and close to nature. Light a fire in the wood sauna, warm yourself by the fireplace and let the days go by. The cottage is about 50 sqm with kitchen/living room, bedroom, a generous loft and large terrace. Perhaps the best view of the plot can be found on the outdoor toilet, which is located just behind the cottage. Down by the sea, there is a sheltered jetty if you want to get to Lunsberg with your own boat or just swim after the sauna.

Enjoy a beautiful stay at our newly renovated house. The property offers modern amenities, with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with private sauna. The secluded balcony enjoys mid-day and evening sun, as well as a glimpse of the nearby bay. The house is located 150m from the Kökar disc golf course, a local café and a good spot for birdwatching during the migration periods. If you wish to bring a pet, please send us an inquiry first.

Åland, Sund charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage (Fridhem), which was originally a bakery, was moved from a small village to the current location in the 1950s, when it was also rebuilt into the current house. The cottage is located on highway 2, in between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, about 5 km in each direction. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. There are bike paths nearby, beautiful forest roads as well. See my guide for tips.
