The cabin is spacious and can room 3 families/15 people. The kitchen has 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, a wine cabinet, 1 coffee machine, 1 luxury oven (De Dietrich) and 1 steam oven, as well as an induction top. There are plenty of utensils for cooking including plates, glasses, and cutlery. There is a large lounge centrally in the cabin as well as an additional TV room, which makes it easy to retreat a little if there are several of you together. There is a separate room for your ski apparel including ski shoes and helmets. The sauna has space for 4-5 people. Electric car charging is available. The cabin is energy efficient and uses geothermal heating with hot water in all floors. Normal consumption should not exceed an average of 100 kW per day. Consumption above this is paid additionally. The cabin is located between Haukeligrend and Arabygdi, at the foot of Hardangervidda. If the weather is nice, the sun shines on the porch around the cabin, from morning to evening, all year round. Advantage of four-wheel drive in winter. Nice hiking terrain for all seasons. Approximately half an hour's drive from the ski resorts in Rauland, Haukelifjell and Hovden. Hovden also has a water park. Haukeli Husky 5 min. away Nice lakes for swimming and fishing (fishing license must be purchased) Great pasture. Two goat farms nearby Electric car charger.

The cabin "Støylen" is located freely in front of Songadammen. The barn was in active use until 2003. The cabin contains a loft with a kitchenette of about 30 sqm. Bathroom with shower. Bedroom no. 1 has a double bed. Bedroom no. 2 has 2 bunk beds. There is also a small loft that can be used for overnight stays. Otherwise, there is a hallway and the toilet is located in a separate room at the end of this. The kitchen is well equipped. Wood-burning stove and electricity for heating Towels and bed linen can be rented for NOK 100 per set.

Newer cabin with great views and nice hiking opportunities

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room with a corner sofa (can also be used as a sofa bed if needed), a cosy fireplace, a large dining table, a loft, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and washing machine. Large terrace with a dining table and a view of the lake and the mountains. We have our own marina, boat ramp and a boat, 2 kayaks and 2 SUPs that can be rented. 15 min to the ski centre.
